Restore Your Hair, Reclaim Your Confidence
Hair loss affects everyone differently, and whether you’re experiencing male or female pattern baldness, thinning, receding, or a change in texture, we understand the impact it can have on your confidence. With so many hair loss treatments on the market – lotions, supplements, and so-called miracle cures – it’s easy to feel frustrated by empty promises and underwhelming results.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy is a natural and transformative treatment that uses the power of your own blood platelets to restore hair growth. By stimulating your scalp’s natural healing processes, PRP rejuvenates hair follicles, resulting in thicker, healthier hair. This non-invasive solution provides long-lasting results, helping both men and women regain their confidence

PRP Before and After Results
Treatment Options
PRP Only
Basic
This foundational treatment involves injecting concentrated PRP (platelet-rich plasma) directly into areas of hair thinning to awaken dormant follicles and encourage regrowth. It's a gentle, regenerative option ideal for those in the early stages of hair loss or for clients maintaining results after a full course of treatment.
Includes:
- Collection of two vials of blood and concentration of your own PRP
- Scalp mapped and injected with precision, approximately 1 cm square
- Helps reactivate follicles and slow shedding
Best for: Maintenance treatments, early-stage hair thinning, post hair transplant or those preferring a minimal approach.
PRP + Microneedling
Better
Building on the PRP foundation, this level adds microneedling to enhance delivery and stimulation. Microchannels created during needling allow for deeper absorption of growth factors, while also triggering the scalp's natural healing processes. This dual-action approach promotes collagen production, improves circulation, and accelerates visible results.
Includes everything in Basic, plus:
- Microneedling across target hair loss areas to create microchannels for deep PRP absorption
- Increased release of growth factors
- Additional collagen and blood flow stimulation
- Enhanced coverage
Best for: Actively thinning hair, patchy density, or clients seeking accelerated results whilst maintaining an all natural hair loss approach.
PRP + Microneedling + Hair Vitality Booster Serum

Our most advanced protocol combines targeted PRP injections and microneedling with a clinical-grade Hair Vitality Booster Serum by Innoaesthetics. This serum is tailored to support the distinct biological needs of male and female scalps addressing hormonal and structural differences that impact hair loss. It contains DHT blockers, peptides, amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants to reduce follicle miniaturisation, strengthen strands, nourish the scalp, and improve long-term density and resilience. Includes everything in Better, plus:
- Innoaesthetics Hair Vitality Booster Serum
- Gender-specific formulation for male and female scalp physiology
- Includes DHT blockers to help address hormonal hair loss
- Rich in peptides, vitamins, amino acids, and antioxidants
- Supports stronger, healthier strands

Clinical Information & Risk Disclosure
Nature of Procedure: Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is an autologous medical procedure using your own blood. It is a non-approved medicine in New Zealand, meaning it has not been registered by Medsafe for a specific therapeutic purpose. At Jay’s Medispa, we use PRP as a health service to support skin rejuvenation and tissue quality.
Balanced Expectations: PRP works by utilizing the growth factors in your own platelets to stimulate a natural biological response. Results are not immediate and typically develop over several weeks. While many patients experience improvements in skin texture and tone, individual results vary significantly based on biological factors, age, and lifestyle. There is a risk that the treatment may not produce the desired outcome for every patient.
Known Risks: Common side effects include localized swelling, redness, and bruising at the injection site. As with any procedure involving skin penetration, there is a minor risk of infection or nerve trauma. Because PRP uses your own blood, the risk of an allergic reaction or rejection is extremely low.
Mandatory Consultation: A clinical assessment by our Registered Nurse is mandatory prior to treatment. PRP is not suitable for individuals with certain blood disorders, active infections, or those who are pregnant.
Remember, the journey to fuller hair is a partnership between you and Jay’s Medispa. If you have any questions or need support post-treatment, our team is always here to assist you. Adhering to these guidelines will help you achieve the best possible results from your PRP therapy. We look forward to witnessing your hair transformation!
