PRP Facelift

Restore Youthful Radiance & Rejuvenate Your Skin Naturally

Aging skin doesn’t have to define how you feel about yourself. If you're seeking a way to refresh your complexion and rediscover your natural radiance, our PRP Facelift offers a transformative solution.

Unlike traditional cosmetic procedures, the PRP Facelift uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from your own blood to naturally enhance your skin. This regenerative and non-invasive treatment offers immediate improvement in texture and tone, reduces fine lines, and stimulates collagen production for long-lasting rejuvenation that highlights the unique contours of your face.

Treatment Options

Healthy skin starts from within — and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatments work at the source. At Jay’s Medispa, we offer three levels of PRP-based facial rejuvenation tailored to your skin goals. Whether you're looking to refresh dull, tired skin, address fine lines, or take a more regenerative approach to ageing, each tier builds on your body’s own regenerative potential.

PRP Injections Only

Basic

This foundational treatment uses targeted PRP injections to stimulate collagen and restore firmness in key areas of concern — including under the eyes, cheeks, and smile lines. It’s ideal for maintenance or first-time clients looking for a natural glow-up.

Includes:

  • Collection and concentration of your own PRP
  • Local anaesthetic for comfort
  • Strategic injections in areas needing firmness or volume
  • Boosts collagen and tightens skin

Best for: Subtle rejuvenation, early signs of ageing, or ongoing maintenance.

PRP + Microneedling

Better

Combines PRP injections with full-face microneedling for enhanced delivery and wider skin rejuvenation. Microneedling creates tiny channels that increase PRP absorption, stimulate healing, and improve overall skin texture, pore size, and fine lines.

Includes everything in Basic, plus:

  • Microneedling for deeper absorption and wider coverage
  • Enhanced healing and surface renewal
  • Smooths texture, fine lines, and scarring
  • More radiant, even-toned skin

Best for: Improving tone, texture, and elasticity with visible surface results.

PRP + Microneedling + Skin Booster Serum

Best

Our most advanced skin treatment combines PRP with microneedling and a professional-grade skin booster serum packed with peptides, vitamins, and hyaluronic acid. The result: more hydration, faster regeneration, and greater radiance. Tailored formulas are available for different skin types and concerns.

Includes everything in Better, plus:

  • Skin booster serum rich in hyaluronic acid, peptides, and antioxidants
  • Boosts hydration, barrier strength, and glow
  • Addresses deeper fine lines and tired-looking skin
  • Tailored formulations for dry, dull, or mature skin

Best for: Deep hydration, radiance, and overall skin transformation with enhanced regenerative support.

FAQs

Let's explore some common questions about PRP Facelift treatments.

Post-Treatment Care Guide

Congratulations on your PRP Facelift! To ensure the best results and a speedy recovery, please follow these post-treatment care guidelines.

Avoid touching or scratching: It's important to resist the urge to touch or scratch the treated area, as this can exacerbate redness and irritation.

Apply a cold compress: To reduce redness and soothe any inflammation, gently apply a cold compress to the treated area for around 10–15 minutes at a time. This can help calm the skin and minimise any discomfort.

Taking medications: Avoid taking anti-inflammatory medication unless absolutely necessary. You may take paracetamol if needed.

Use a gentle cleanser: Cleanse the treated area with a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser, e.g., Cetaphil. Avoid products with harsh ingredients or exfoliants, as they can further irritate the skin.

Moisturise regularly: Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser to the treated area at least twice a day. This can help keep the skin hydrated and promote healing.

Avoid irritants: Avoid using products that could potentially irritate the skin for 5 days, such as harsh soaps, alcohol-based toners, or other skincare products with strong active ingredients. Opt for gentle, non-irritating formulations instead.

Protect from the sun & Saunas: Apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 regularly, stay clear from saunas and chlorinated swimming pools for 2 days.

Stay hydrated: Drinking enough water can help maintain skin hydration and support the healing process. Aim for at least eight glasses of water per day.

Avoid makeup and cosmetics: It's best to avoid wearing makeup 24 hrs. or using any other skincare products on the treated area until the redness and rashes subside. This allows the skin to recover without further irritation.

Clinical Information & Risk Disclosure

Nature of Procedure: Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is an autologous medical procedure using your own blood. It is a non-approved medicine in New Zealand, meaning it has not been registered by Medsafe for a specific therapeutic purpose. At Jay’s Medispa, we use PRP as a health service to support skin rejuvenation and tissue quality.

Balanced Expectations: PRP works by utilizing the growth factors in your own platelets to stimulate a natural biological response. Results are not immediate and typically develop over several weeks. While many patients experience improvements in skin texture and tone, individual results vary significantly based on biological factors, age, and lifestyle. There is a risk that the treatment may not produce the desired outcome for every patient.

Known Risks: Common side effects include localized swelling, redness, and bruising at the injection site. As with any procedure involving skin penetration, there is a minor risk of infection or nerve trauma. Because PRP uses your own blood, the risk of an allergic reaction or rejection is extremely low.

Mandatory Consultation: A clinical assessment by our Registered Nurse is mandatory prior to treatment. PRP is not suitable for individuals with certain blood disorders, active infections, or those who are pregnant.

Remember, following these instructions is crucial for your skin's health and the effectiveness of the treatment. If you have any concerns or questions, Jay’s Medispa is always here to support your post-treatment.
